🚫 Don't call it a midlife crisis (here's why)

ELEVATE + THRIVE™

Design a Life of Elegance, Ease & Intention. One Choice at a Time.

Dear Reader,

Nobody calls a piano broken while it's being tuned.

Confused? Stay with me...

Back in May I sat down with Lisa Feveck for a live conversation about burnout and menopause. I arrived ready to talk about the physical side. The fatigue that rest no longer touches. The energy that won't manufacture on demand the way it did at 35.

The messages started before the livestream had even ended. And not one woman asked me about hormones.

They asked the question underneath: who am I in this chapter?

One had just stepped into full-time caregiving (as I have with my mother). Another had ticked every box on her list and felt only grey. Each message was a version of the same half-finished sentence: I'm not in crisis. But I'm not who I was. And nobody has given me a name for this.

So let me give it a name: calibration.

A crisis means something is broken. A calibration means the instrument is being adjusted for new conditions. Nothing in you has failed. You've spent decades gathering wisdom, skill and self-knowledge, and this chapter is asking you to re-tune your life so all of it can finally be SPENT. That isn't decline. That's abundance waiting for its architecture.

This chapter you're in isn't asking you to fix yourself. It's asking you to adjust the structure around who you've become.

Your action for today: say this sentence out loud and finish it: "This chapter of my life is asking me to..." Don't write it. Speak it. Your own voice will tell you when you've landed on the truth. ✨

And if what came out of your mouth needs somewhere to live, I'm opening The Dream Come True: The Architecture Sessions this month.

Two online sessions.

Six women.

$1,500 USD.

Together we'll build the actual structure of the life you've already begun living. Not the vision of it. The framework underneath that will hold it on the hard days.

One of my former clients, Elspeth, said it best: "Sarina's coaching gave me the tools to make a 3-year dream a reality."

I've spent 25 years walking women across this exact threshold, seven of those years on national radio in my native Trinidad.

If something in you leaned forward just now, simply reply to this email and I'll share the details. No pressure either way. This chapter is also patient ☺️

Best Wishes,

Sarina

PS: I'm in this month's issue of Trinidad's Muse Magazine. You can read the feature here (pg. 13).

I had that morning in 2020. Trinidad, like most of the world, had gone into lockdown and, for the first time in years, I had no...
